Case Study: A Decade of Mindfulness at CMS

CMS (Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP) is one of the world's largest law firms, with over 1,000 lawyers in its London office alone. Through its Enable Network, the firm's staff wellbeing programme, CMS has run regular mindfulness meditation sessions led by Robert for more than ten years, giving colleagues practical tools to manage pressure and stay focused in a demanding legal environment.

"For over ten years, Robert has delivered mindfulness meditation sessions at CMS that have become a valued part of our wellbeing offering. His calm, practical and professional approach provides colleagues with tools they can genuinely use to manage pressure, improve focus and build resilience in a demanding legal environment."

A decade of consistent engagement speaks for itself: what began as a wellbeing initiative has become an embedded, valued part of how CMS supports its people.

Case Study: Supporting the Madlani Cancer Support Community

Madlani Cancer Support (registered charity no. 1206230) is a Kent-based charity offering non-medical, holistic support to anyone living with cancer, together with their loved ones and carers. Robert leads regular mindfulness meditation sessions for the Madlani community and delivered their wellness retreat in June 2026, creating gentle, unpressured spaces where people can find calm.

"Robert has been such a special part of what we offer our community. The way he leads his mindfulness sessions is just... lovely. There's no rush, no pressure, just a gentle, calm space where people going through cancer, or dealing with anxiety and sleep struggles, can simply be.

He has a real gift for meeting people where they are. You can feel the shift in the room by the end: shoulders drop, breathing slows, and there's a quiet sense of calm that stays with you. We feel very lucky to have him supporting our community."

Robert Mitchell, mindfulness and resilience trainer

Your Mindfulness Trainer

I'm Robert Mitchell. I've been delivering mindfulness, resilience, and meditation training to organisations since 2013. My approach is practical, evidence-based, and secular, focused on giving people tools they can actually use. The training is accessible and inclusive for anyone with any beliefs or faiths.

I've worked with organisations ranging from NHS trusts and government regulators to tech companies, blue light services and third-sector organisations. I'm as comfortable in a boardroom of senior leaders as I am with a group of frontline healthcare workers, and I tailor every session to the people in the room.

I've taught over 5,000 classes and am rated 4.9 from 40+ reviews across Google and Facebook. My focus is always on practical outcomes: helping people manage stress, build resilience, and perform at their best.
