Note that in July, August and September, our class schedule has a number of amendments. Check it out by clicking the button below.Every Tuesday, since 2014, we have met at 1:15 at Chantry Studios in Bromley Common for ou regular meditation classes. The class is a drop-in for mixed experience. There is no need to book. Everyone is welcome.
Chantry Studios is a thriving yoga, dance and pilates studio with excellent modern facilities.
We sit on the floor so please bring your own cushion, mat etc. We have a few yoga bolsters to sit on but I can’t guarantee any will be free.
The session format is a 15-minute talk on a topic related to mindfulness or meditation with the rest being meditations, mindfulness training, emotional regulation and stress management techniques and practices. You can ask any questions about mindfulness, meditation or any related subject.
We have the upstairs room which is quiet and restful. There are short stools, yoga mats and a few cushions so we shall mostly be sitting in the traditional manner on the floor when we meditate. I suggest that you bring your own cushions in case we run out though there are plenty of yoga mats.
We are upstairs in Chantry Studios which is in the unmade road section of Chantry Lane. come straight up but please leave your shoes in the shelves outside the door or lock them in the lockers downstairs.
